"Run and give life to many and tell the world that Chennai cares" is the tag line behind this wonderful Chennai Marathon event which is going to take place tomorrow at the Mariana Beach road.The Marathon has 3 different variations, infact has 4 variations of run.

The MARG Chennai Half Marathon
Men & Women open to all above 18 years - 21.09 Km

MARG I Love Chennai - The Great Chennai Run
Men & Women open to all above 14 years - 7 Km

MARG Juniors Chennai Run
Boys & Girls below 16 years - 7 Km

MARG Masters Run
Men & Women above 55 years - 3 Km


MARG Wheel Chair Run
Differently abled for wheel chair participants - 500 metres


A registration fee of Rs.100 is collected and Rs.50 for college students and it is free for school students.So friends if you can just run a few kilometers you can give life to many underprivileged children of Chennai.Go for it !

Excellent work by the Master-ARR.He is the best.All the songs are really cool and i bet that you will like them at the first time when you here.Especially the 'Marudhani' song rocks.If you can't believe then i bring you the quotes from IndiaGlitz-"The songs have been designed in such a way that hearing them once is good enough for the tunes to stick on to hearts. The melody maker in Rahman is at his best in 'Sakarakatti' and the music album is sure to go places.Hats off to Rahman who has retained freshness in the album.'Sakkarakatti' is truly as sweet as sugar candy."

Recently the song from Jaane tu ya jaane na - Paapu can't dance really rocks and has reached all the youths.The music is good and the song's video adds some good comedy sense to it and thus adds value.
